About Sattvika

What is Sattvika?

Sattvika is a Perth-based food and lifestyle store committed to making naturally grown grains, millets, pulses, seeds, herbs, and wholesome foods more accessible. We also carry traditional books, Vedic Panchangs, pooja items, and copper and bronze cookware and dinnerware.

Where is Sattvika based?

We are based in Perth, Western Australia. Our warehouse and processing facilities are located in Cockburn and Carine, WA.

What does "Sattvika" mean?

"Sattvika" is derived from the Sanskrit word "Sattva", meaning purity, goodness, and harmony. It reflects our philosophy of offering food and products that are wholesome, natural, and aligned with traditional values.


Products

What food products do you sell?

We currently offer naturally grown pantry essentials including grains, millets, pulses, seeds, and herbs — carefully sourced from growers who share our commitment to quality and responsible farming.

Do you sell freshly milled flour?

Freshly milled flour is part of our Phase 2 plans. When launched, flour will be milled to order for maximum freshness and traceability. Stay tuned for updates!

What books do you carry?

We carry a range of Vedic and philosophical texts including Yoga Darshanam, Vaisheshik Darshanam, Sankhya Darshanam, Nyay Darshanam, Mimansa Darshan, and Patanjal Yoga Darshan. These are available in our Books & Vedas collection.

What are the Vedic Panchangs?

A Panchang is a traditional Hindu almanac used for auspicious dates, festivals, and daily timings. We offer both PDF digital downloads and hard copy editions of the SMKAP Vedic Panchang for various years.

What cookware and dinnerware do you sell?

We carry traditional bronze (kansa alloy) dinnerware sets and pure copper items such as Hawan Kunds. These are crafted using traditional methods and are valued for their health and spiritual benefits.

Are your food products certified organic?

We source from growers who follow responsible and natural farming practices. While not all products may carry formal organic certification, we prioritise quality, traceability, and farming methods that work in harmony with nature. Product-specific details are listed on each product page.


Orders & Payments

How do I place an order?

Simply browse our store at www.satvik.com.au, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. We accept major payment methods including Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Please contact us as soon as possible at contact@satvik.com.au if you need to make changes. We will do our best to accommodate requests before the order is packed and dispatched.

Do you offer seasonal pre-orders?

Yes! We are building a seasonal pre-order system where customers can reserve produce before planting seasons begin. This helps reduce waste and supports farmers with better production planning. Pre-order availability and conditions will be clearly stated on the relevant product pages.

Can I cancel a seasonal pre-order?

Because seasonal products are sourced and produced specifically to meet customer demand, cancellations may not be possible once production or harvesting has commenced. Please refer to the specific product page for cancellation conditions.


Pick-Up & Shipping

Do you offer home delivery?

Currently, shipping is not offered. Orders are available for pick-up from our Perth Metro locations. We plan to introduce delivery options in the future.

Where can I pick up my order?

Pick-up is available from our warehouse locations in Cockburn and Carine, Perth WA. Pick-up is available every Friday, except on public holidays.

How long does order processing take?

Pantry products (grains, millets, pulses, seeds, herbs) are typically packed within 1–5 business days. Freshly milled flour (when available) may require 2–5 business days for milling and packing.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to selected countries including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, USA, Canada, and several countries across Europe and Asia. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.


Returns & Refunds

Can I return a product if I change my mind?

Due to the nature of food products, we generally cannot accept returns for change-of-mind purchases. For non-food items, please contact us to discuss your situation.

What if I receive a damaged or incorrect item?

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs. We will assess the matter and offer a replacement, store credit, or refund where appropriate.

How do I contact you about a return or refund?

Digital Products

How do I receive my digital download after purchase?

After completing your purchase, you will receive an email with a download link for your PDF. Please check your spam or junk folder if you don't see it in your inbox.

Can I get a refund on a digital download?

As digital products are delivered instantly upon purchase, we are generally unable to offer refunds once the file has been downloaded. If you experience a technical issue, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.
